Acronym / code: Aerosol4solar
Project type: SFRS – Diaspora: Support for Visits of Diaspora Scientists
Realization period: 01.08.2025. – 31.07.2026.
Project funded by: Science Fund of Republic of Serbia
SRO project holder: Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade
  • Institute of Physics Belgrade, National Institute of the Republic of Serbia
Principal investigator: Radovan Dojčilović

The development of solar cells with environmentally friendly solutions depends on efficient light absorbing material. In the proposed project we will study copper-silver based nanomaterials in the form of aerosols. With the expertise of the PPD, we will perform X-ray aerosol photoelectron spectroscopy at Synchrotron SOLEIL. PPD will teach us aerosol production and deposition techniques and analysis of the valence band structure which will enable the fabrication of advanced energy absorbers.
