Transcriptional Regulation Interactions

The TRI_tool is a sequence-based web tool for prediction of protein interactions in the human transcriptional regulation.

The dataset for benchmarking can be downloaded here.

Quick start guide

In the first input box Sequences enter the list of sequences in FASTA format.

Protein descriptions in the FASTA header must not contain character #. Maximum number of sequences is 100 or 15 in case of "All possible pair combinations".

Choose either (1) automatic combination in pairs or (2) adding protein pairs of interest in the second input box.

(1) By checking the box "All possible pair combinations", predictions are made for combinations of proteins in the box "Sequences".

(2) In the input box "Interactions" pairs should be indicated by the FASTA headers used in the box "Sequences", separated by the special character #. Each pair must be in a different row. Maximum number of pairs is 100.

Output

TRI_tool output is a real value that quantifies the probability of a given pair to form an interaction. Pairs with p1 > 0.5 are assumed to form interaction.

Result in the summary table can be sorted by the probabilities p1 in descending order, by checking the box "Sort result by p1 predicted values".
